Role: Relocation Operative

Salary £12.61 phr
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours a week: 36 (4 days out of 7- weekend flexibility required)

We're looking for reliable and enthusiastic Relocation Operatives to join our team in Wallingford on a part-time basis (4 days out of 7). Shifts will rotate, and weekend working is required, so flexibility is important.
This is not your average removals role. You’ll be involved in everything from relocating modern office furniture and IT equipment to supporting complex moves involving hospitals, laboratories, libraries, and even fine art. No two days are the same.
What you’ll be doing:
- Moving, installing, and protecting office furniture and equipment with care and precision
- Driving a 3.5t Van
- Supporting specialist projects such as hospital and school relocations
- Taking goods into and out of storage
- Ensuring items are safely loaded, transported, and delivered
- Following safe working practices and upholding company standard
- Representing the company positively on-site and with clients
What we’re looking for:
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding role
- A polite and professional attitude with strong communication skills
- A methodical and responsible approach to work
- Able to work well in a team and independently
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to handle change
- Desirable but not essential: CSCS card, Asbestos Awareness certification, A-Level (or equivalent) education
