Role: Site Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Hybrid Across South East Sites

Hours: 9am - 5pm
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 Per Annum
+ £5,000 Car Allowance
The Site Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for delivering reliable IT infrastructure and end-user support across multiple sites in the South East. The role focuses on managing and maintaining network, communications, and end-user computing infrastructure, ensuring high availability of IT services, and acting as the primary on-site IT contact for operational teams. Working closely with internal support teams and third-party suppliers, the Site Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting network issues, implementing infrastructure solutions across geographically dispersed locations, and supporting the installation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of IT equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach to delivering effective IT services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day configuration, troubleshooting and fault resolution on standard LAN / WAN components e.g. switches, routers, wireless access points
- Ability to design, install and interconnect infrastructure across geographically dispersed sites.
- Installation and decommissioning of EUC devices such as laptops, desktops, printers and mobile devices
- Act as a point of escalation for incidents, liaising between support teams and site resources
- Management of third party suppliers for installations, fault resolution and ensuring agreed service levels are maintained
- Build relationships with site operational teams to ensure onsite IT is fit for purpose, enables efficient operations and conforms with company standards.
- Produce and update technical documentation as and when required
What we are looking for:
- Experience with the support, troubleshooting and day to day administration of the following:
- Network Infrastructure
- Microsoft365 suite including Windows 11 operating system
- Data and voice cabling and termination
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting IT infrastructure, including network components (LAN/WAN), Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and end-user devices. (Essential)
