Class 2 Driver (Internally known as Relocation Operative) 
Salary: 32,000 pa 
Contract type: 3 month FTC
Hours a week: 40 Monday to Friday 
Location: Leeds, LS11 0HF

Join our team at Restore Harrow Green as a skilled Class 2 Driver with a strong focus on removals and logistics. Beyond driving, this role requires hands-on expertise in packing, loading, and leading small teams during relocations and installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Removals Expertise: Safely operate rigid commercial vehicles up to 18t, specializing in packing, loading, and transporting furniture and equipment
  
• Team Leadership: Lead small teams effectively during relocation projects, ensuring efficiency and adherence to project timelines
  
• Project Management: Manage small-scale moves and installations, maintaining strict compliance with company and regulatory standards
  
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations meet safety protocols for handling, transportation, and installation of goods
  
• Training and Development: Mentor team members on best practices in removals, fostering skill development and operational excellence
  
• Regulatory Compliance: Uphold company standards, including the completion of Waste Transfer Notes and daily vehicle inspections
  

• Licenses and Certifications: Full Cat C licence, Drivers CPC & DQC.
  
• Desirable Certifications: FORS, ADR classifications, CSCS Card, IOSH Working Safely or equivalent, Asbestos Awareness.
  
• Experience: Proven track record as a Class 2 Driver in logistics or removals, demonstrating robust manual handling capabilities.
  
• Skills: Strong leadership abilities, safety-focused mindset, and exceptional communication skills.
