Production Operative transitioning to Team Leader
Site: Livingston
Contract: 4 Month FTC, Full time
Hours: Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Expected to work most Saturdays, 7.5 hours per shift.
Advance notice will be provided if Saturday work is not required (Shift patterns provided below)
Salary: £23,400 per annum

Restore Digital is seeking a Production Operator transitioning to a Team Leader for a 4-month fixed-term contract in Livingston. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our dynamic team. As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for preparing, scanning, and processing Examination Scripts with a focus on accuracy and security. Your main tasks will include document handling, data entry, and quality control, with some manual lifting involved.
Key Duties:
- Booking In: Track and log incoming documents, meeting production targets.
- Document Preparation: Prepare documents for scanning.
- Cutting: Accurate guillotining of script spines
- Scanning: Operate scanners, ensuring high-quality digital images.
- Quality Assurance: Check and index scanned documents, resolving any issues.
- Adhere to ISO standards and complete required training.
- Ensure high-quality standards with minimal errors.

What We’re Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting targets.
- Comfortable with manual handling – standing for long periods and lifting boxes up to 20kg.
- No experience necessary – full on the job training provided!

- Motivate and manage a high-performing team.
- Provide clear instruction, training, and support to ensure targets are met.
- Report issues in a timely manner to facilitate quick resolutions.
Working Hours & Shift Patterns:
- Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00 until Saturday, 3rd May 2025.
- Closed Monday, 5th May 2025, for a bank holiday.
- Mandatory Shift pattern commences Tuesday, 6th May 2025 for circa 5 weeks
- Early Shift: Monday to Saturday, 06:00 – 14:00
- Back Shift: Monday to Saturday, 14:00 – 22:00
