7.5 Tonne Driver Location: Exeter, EX5 1EW Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday - Friday, 45 hours per week Salary: £30,338 per annum
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable 7.5T Driver to join our team. This role involves more than just driving; it includes attending client sites, collecting confidential paper documents, and ensuring their secure transport and destruction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Check the vehicle at the start of the shift, completing the defect sheet and reporting any defects
Drive vehicles you are licensed to drive and comply with all Driver Regulations, including hours
Ensure all appropriate and required equipment to complete your daily duties is loaded onto the vehicle before leaving the depot
Review and understand all job sheets before leaving the depot
Use the PDA correctly to record daily collection activities and customer information
Complete all jobs on time and correctly, either solo or with a driver’s assistant
Ensure all paperwork is completed for each job, with items collected recorded and signed for by the client, with a copy handed in at the end of the shift
Ensure the material is safe and secure at all times
About you:
Full UK C1 driving licence
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to apply the principles of customer care
Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
Capable of handling tasks involving lifting and transporting materials
