As Fibre Procurement Manager, you will play a key role in driving Restore Datashred’s growth by sourcing and securing high-quality recovered paper fibre across the UK. This role is more than just procurement – it’s about business development, strategic relationship-building, and expanding our market presence. You will identify and convert new business opportunities, ensuring a consistent and sustainable supply of recovered fibre that supports our commercial and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying and targeting high-value waste opportunities for key fibre grades
- Procuring material directly from B2B sources and managing logistics for efficient deliveries
- Collaborating with the Head of Infrastructure & Paper Sales to pinpoint key markets for fibre sales
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure sourcing aligns with processing capabilities
- Contributing to growth strategies by innovating and diversifying our fibre portfolio
- Assisting the paper sales team in developing potential global fibre sales outlets
- Supporting and promoting growth within our ‘Restore Recycle’ brand
- Carrying out additional tasks as required by the line manager
About You
- Experienced in proactively identifying, targeting, and securing new sources of fibre waste
- Strong commercial relationship-builder with B2B suppliers, brokers, and waste management companie
- Skilled in developing and executing strategies to expand a procurement network
- Knowledgeable in market trends, competitor activity, and pricing fluctuations
- Confident in representing Restore Datashred at industry events and networking opportunities
- Experienced in managing supply chain efficiency across multiple sites
- Commercially aware with a background in the recovered fibre industry, particularly in sales or procurement
