Communications Officer
Contract type: Full time, Permanent.
Location: London or Rainham - Hybrid
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Are you passionate about crafting compelling stories and fostering internal engagement? We are looking for a dynamic Communications Officer to lead and enhance our internal communications strategy across Restore Plc. This pivotal role reports directly to our Marketing & Communications Director, working closely with key stakeholders to keep employees informed, engaged and aligned with our business objectives
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Content Development – Develop and implement a structured internal content plan that aligns with business priorities and meets colleague needs
- Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with stakeholders to drive initiatives on Health & Safety, ESG, Diversity & Inclusion, and other critical topics
- Platform Management – Manage our internal communication platforms (such as Circle and Engage), becoming the go-to expert within the organisation
- Messaging Excellence – Ensure all communications are clear, consistent and engaging, enhancing trust and transparency aligned with Your Say Survey objectives
- Web Presence – Support updates to our external website and careers portal to strengthen our employer brand both internally and externally
- Cross-Functional Support – Partner with marketing teams across business units to leverage internal content externally, reinforcing our brand to customers and potential talent
- Advisor Role – Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams, offering guidance on effective communication practices
Skills & Experience
- Communication Expert – Fluent in English with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Precision in Writing – Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Multifaceted Experience – Proficient in various communication tactics and channels, with hands-on experience in intranet and SharePoint content creation and management
- Project Management – Strong project management skills, delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Collaborative Spirit – Ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders
- Initiative and Improvement – Proactive self-starter who identifies opportunities for continuous improvement
- Cultural Alignment – Champion a shared organisational culture through collaborative cross-departmental work
- Qualifications – Minimum of five years' experience in communications, with a degree in communications or a related field
