 HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Exeter, EX5 1EW
Salary: £35,242.82 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday - Friday 5am - 6am start, 4pm - 5pm finish

• Check the vehicle at the start of the shift, completing the defect sheet and reporting any defects 
  
• Drive vehicles you are licensed to drive and comply with all Driver Regulations
  
• Use tachographs correctly and consistently
  
• Ensure all necessary equipment required for your duties is loaded before leaving the depot
  
• Review and understand all job sheets before leaving the depot 
  
• Accurately record collection activities and customer data using the PDA
  
• Complete all jobs on time and correctly, either solo or with a driver’s assistant 
  
• Ensure all paperwork is completed for each job, with items collected recorded and signed for by the client, with a copy handed in at the end of the shift 
  
• Maintain the security and integrity of materials at all times

• Full UK Class 2 driving licence 
  
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills
  
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service
  
• Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
  
• Happy handling tasks involving lifting and transporting materials
